Absolute Super Easy Beginner Guitar: Your First Guitar Lesson

LESSON ONE: The Video Beginners Guitar Lesson: teaches you the basics. Memorize all the parts of the guitar & terminology used in the video lesson. Learn two chords: Em= E minor and Asus2= A suspended two. Learn how to hold your pick. Learn how to strum with even rhythm strokes. Get creative with your artistic expression. Repeat the video three times in your first week to gain memory retention of your first guitar lesson.

LESSON TWO: Introduction To Acoustic Guitar: We evaluated the guitar to be good as Lucy's student learning guitar. Theguitar must be tuned with the digital tuner before every playing session. Standard tuning for memorization is the following:

1st string= E (starting with thinner string)

2nd string= B

3rd string= G

4th string= D

5th string= A

6th string= E (largest thick string)

LESSON THREE: Rhythm Routine: Use your foot to always count the beat in sets of four: 1-2-3-4-1-2-3-4. Count audibly.

Count off twice which is two measures before playing starts.

REST PALM on wood bridge always. Use thumb to play open E to every 1-2-3-4 beat (around 20 times). Then change to 5th string. 4th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, back down 2nd reverse to 6th string. Playing should work toward perfection to the 1-2-3-4 beat.

LESSON FOUR: Bar Chord with index finger: starting with first fret, second, third, all the way up the neck of the guitar (be sure to put index finger close to the bar of each fret for the most clear sound. There should be no buzzing of the strings. No buzzing is accomplished the easiest by leveraging your thumb on the bottom of the neck. This is a strength building exercise that should be done every day for 7 days in a row. if fingers start cramping, stop, rest, and try again later.

LESSON FIVE: Tune Guitar To Standard Pitch Perfectly: Before playing for any session, the guitar needs to be tuned with the digital tuner. Utilize the tuner every time.
